Jane Wilson Rothe Date of Birth: Fri, 04/13/1945 Date of Death: Wed, 04/11/2012
Jane Wilson Rothe, 66, of Houston passed away on April 11, 2012. She was born on Friday, April 13, 1945 in Houston, Texas to parents, Robert Wilson and Bobbie Bergman Wilson. To all that will listen, We have heard a lot from mom’s friends about what mom has meant to all of you. We know now how blessed she was to have the friends that she did and we know her friends were blessed to have her. We, her daughters, would like to tell you about the mother that we had. Our mom was all those things, that her friends have told us, “A wonderful friend, full of life, bubbly, caring, always there when you need her and on and on. We would like to share how our mom will live on through us, her daughters, and also through her grandchildren (she was very close to each one of them). This list is what she taught us: •Wonderful holiday traditions (opening presents one person, one present at a time so she could enjoy Christmas longer). •How to be a true friend. •How to be a great wife (take care of your husbands so you get what you want). •How to have fun. •Great wisdom (“google” mom will be missed the most). •How not to judge. •How to be fair. •How to be a great listener (even though she could talk your ear off). •How to redecorate (don’t worry about what others think, just get what you like). •To think outside the box. We will all cherish these things and will pass them on through generations, but we will never be able to replace that great endless smile, her unique laugh and her love for life. Thanks for listening friends. Love you all, Bobbie, Patty and Traci. Jane is survived by her husband, Lloyd Rothe; children, Bobbie Drew and her husband Robert, Patty Cook and her husband Cliff and Traci Branam and her husband David; grandchildren, Meagan Drew, Cassie Drew, Jared Drew, Clay Cook, Ashley McDougall and husband Jacob, Colin Branam and Tucker Branam; brother, Robert Wilson and wife Muril; sister, Mary Wells and Billy Manning and 1 well anticipated great-grandchild on the way. Jane is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 13, 2012 (Her Birthday!) from 5 o'clock in the afternoon until 8 o'clock in the evening at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home in Houston. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10 o'clock in the morning in the Chapel of Cypress-Fairbanks. Interment will follow in the Perry Cemetery in Houston.

    Well Sis,
Like I have told my children, you spend more time with your siblings then anyone else on earth. What a blessing it was to have had all that time with you. From little girls to teenage years to motherhood to being grand mothers. There were always room for more private jokes that no one ever understood but us and we would laugh until our sides ached. All the years that we talked on the phone at 6:00 A M every morning until one of us had to go. We solved every problem of everyone we knew but never told them.
I miss you so much and I know that we knew how much we loved each other, I just didn't know it would be so hard to give you up.
I know you are with the Lord in your mansion. We will be together again.
    Until then.

    Mary

May the Rothe family find comfort in your loving memories, and in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) While grief at the loss of Jane is great, joy at receiving her back in the resurrection will be greater. (Mark 5;42) With sympathy,

Jane was such a breath of fresh air. Every time you would see her she would flash that gorgeous smile and had something sweet to say. She will truly be missed by so many friends and neighbors in Cypress Forest. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family Lloyd.

We did not know Jane, but her brother Robert and wife Muril, are friends of ours. They had requested prayer for her in our church family. Though the prayers were not answered as we all would have liked, she is present with the Lord and no longer suffering, so in God's way, our prayers were answered. Our sympathies to the entire family. Losing a beloved family member is very hard for those who are left behind. We especially pray for Jane's husband and daughters.

Mom and I have been talking about Aunt Jane so much over the last few months - I have never met anyone with such an amazing laugh and smile, such joy in those sparkling eyes. Even though I didn't see her often, when I did I always knew I'd get that sincere hug, smile and a genuinely good conversation. It makes my heart sad, but joyful too the influence she had and the wonderful family she started - Bobbi, Patty, and Traci - I can't imagine your loss, but your words above are so true, you three are a great reflection of her, I have always known what a special family yours is and how close you all were. Love and hugs to Uncle Lloyd and his sweet, tender heart. :) Just sorry I can't be there...trip with my son into the woods. We'll think of Aunt Jane.

    Dear Lloyde and family,
I met Jane at Curves over 6 years ago and she's been my special buddy ever since, I've never had a better buddy in my life. She will be greatly missed at our "Monday Train" game at Fuddruckers. She brightened everyone's day with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh & humor. Our world is a better place for her having been in it. You have lost a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; I have lost a wonderful friend. I pray God lightens your load at this time.

    With deepest symapthy,

    Nettie Hardy
