Alice Delores Whitfield, 67, passed away April 13, 2012. Alice is predeceased by her brother, D.L. Burnside. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard L. Whitfield; children, James M. Bryant & wife, Brittney, Carrie A. Peterson & husband, James, Joe T. Day III & wife, Jennifer, Kevin E. Whitfield, and Gabe L. Whitfield; grandchildren, Austin J. Peterson, Taylor Nicole Bryant, Joe T. Day IV, and J. Drey Whitfield; aunt, Frances Baggett and numerous other beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10am at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home.

    Alice was a very special lady. She had such an imagination, such dreams, when she was young. She loved her children dearly and worked hard to give them a good life. She was a loving person, tender hearted, & beautiful in many ways. God bless you, Alice, enjoy your new Heavenly Home, and your new glorified body, with no more pain. And God bless your sweet family.
