I worked with Ginger Collins and kept in touch over the years. Ginger was one of those rare people that would risk her own health and well being to aid others. I saw Ginger the day she got out of Hospital. She assured me that she was aware of her situation and was prepared to face it" with her head held as high as possible" ( Ginger humor ).

Ginger Collins was the very definition of a Hero and it has been my privilege and an Honor to have known her.

    She is Gone
    By Anonymous

You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she's gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

    John 5:24

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."

I loved Ginger the minute I met her and we had big plans. I will miss everything about her and all that we talked about on our lunch outings. She was a wonderful mom and a great mother-in-law. I promised her I would look after Amanda and their family to come and I will never let you down. Even though I'm broken hearted you are at peace and that's all a friend could ask for!

A Special Tribute to a Dear Friend who will always be in our Hearts

If flowers grow in heaven Lord,
then pick a bunch for us then
place them in our dear friend's arms
and tell her they are from all of us.
Tell her that we love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and
    hold her for awhile.

    We will truly miss you,

    Love -

Raye, Pam, Don Jr, Niecy and Peighton (your God-Daughter)

Ginger was one of the best people I have ever had the chance to know. She was a wonderful woman, a trusted and highly valued colleague. She gave of herself and was always committed to "getting the job done" - no matter what it might take. We have lost an incredible woman, but she is where she wanted to be - with Michael in Heaven - and she will be greatly missed by those of us who were privileged to have known her.

Ginger like so many has said before me you were there for us all when we needed you. If there was something that needed to be taken care of you did it and made it look effortless. My prayers go out to your family. I have known them for such a short period of time but they made me feel welcome into your home as if we were old friends.

    I will miss you.

    Dearest Ginger:
From the moment I met you and shared your wedding to Michael and met those precious daughters, Teresa & Amanda, I knew you were a special lady. I have loved your bright smile and laughter each time I talked to you or saw you. My precious daughter-in-law was a special angel who loved each and every one in this big family, the Collins Family. Larry's birthday week-end March 2011, we had a wonderful, fun & special
time when we were all together. That is a very special memory for me. Now I know we will all be together when we all meet in heaven with lotsa hugging happening.
I am so happy you are with Michael & as you called Larry, Pop.
I love and will miss you so very much.
    Love you,
    Phronie

Ginny...I was the only one who ever called you that you once said. I love you so much and have missed you. You were such a generous person in so many ways. At one time or another we all borrowed Blacky when our cars broke down at BMP. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. Thank you for your friendship and kindness. I love you and my heart is heavy. My condolences to your family, all of whom I have met because you invited Katie and I to Thanksgiving dinner one year when we probably had no where to go. Sleep with the angels Ginny...with love.

    Meet You At The Gate
A beautiful garden now stands alone,
missing the one who nurtured it
    But now she is gone,
Her flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines,
But the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind,
The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away,
But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay,
she loved every flower even some that were weeds,
So much love she would plant with each little seed,
But just like her flowers she was part of Gods plan,
So when it was her time he reached down his hand,
He look through the Garden searching for the best,
That's when he found Ginger, it was her time to rest,
It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her go,
But God had a spot in his garden, that needed a gentle soul,
So when you start missing Robin, remember if you just wait,
When God has a spot in his garden, She'll meet you at the gate....

Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they
brought into our lives. ~ Author Unknown

I know that you are in Heaven with Michael walking hand in hand on those streets of gold. I just miss you both so much, but I have comfort in knowing, I will be joining you there one day. The World lost a great woman last Friday. Everyone that met you loved you because of your kind, sweet, and loving spirit. Until we meet again my sweet Sister, you will always live on in my heart and mind.
"See ya Later" my sweet Angel
