Darrel Eugene Crider

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Darrel Eugene Crider, devoted father, grandfather, and brother, passed away at the age of 71 after a recent health battle. He was born first child born to Jim and Viola (Fruge) Crider on January 16, 1953 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Darrel was raised in the Houston area and graduated from Northwest Academy in 1971. He loved fishing, sports and all his children and grandchildren dearly. When the opportunity came he could be found on the coastline passing the time.  He lived in the moment and will be remembered for that.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Viola Crider. 

Left to cherish his memories are Dustin and Lindsay Crider, Caleb Crider and Morgan Crider; brother Mark and Lisa Crider and sister Tracey Brewer; grandchildren: Annika Mae Crider, Carson Trammell Crider, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is gone but never forgotten, leaving his loving memories in our hearts forever.
