Samy Lesage-Siwady

Samy Lesage Siwady, 72, resident of Houston, Texas passed away on March 13, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He fought his biggest battle with courage, strength, always held by his faith and God’s hand.

Samy was born on May 4, 1951 in El Progreso, Yoro (Honduras), where he spent his formative years. Throughout his life, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.

But more than anything, Samy was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children, sharing stories. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced. He was also a loving brother, always protecting and caring for his sisters Ivonne, Sandra, and Jacky (Hugo).

In his free time, Samy enjoyed watching TV, passionate about airplanes and flying them when possible, eating frozen yogurt, and always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

Samy is survived by his loving wife Brenda or as he called her Joyce, his children Samy (Esperanza), Fabiola (Leonidas) or as he said “don lello”, Edwin (Karla) and Sammir (MariaJose) or as he called her “la brujita”. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Julian or ju as he liked to call him, and Samy Gabriel. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
